From life comes life
This project is based on the idea that when a life is lost, new life arises. The idea behind this is as follows: every individual acquires knowledge through their life, which is forwarded when you die. In this way, future generations can build new life based on their ancestors’ knowledge — and you will always carry the life of your ancestors in yours. The individual is represented here through handmade pots, and the seed in the pot is their knowledge capsule that is sent slowly but surely further down when the pot breaks.
The handmade ceramic pots are not burnt, which means that when they are filled with water they will again turn to soft clay. When the water slowly fills up the pots, the bottom will eventually give in and pass the seeds and the water down to the next pot.
